Iasi days has arrived. This town is CRAZY! There are tents everywhere and tons of little stands with scarves, jewelry, hats, delicioius food, etc. Almost as good as the state fair!
I bought a hat and real wool socks. Fantastic! I’m super excited about not having freezing feet anymore. I also went grocery shopping today after a good week and a half. I seriously had nothing in the cupboard to eat. Last night, I had a dream that I became a beggar because I had no food – that’s how bad it was getting. I’m all set on food for the week and I have warm socks for the week. I can’t complain.
The other day I had to put my clothes out on the clothesline outside and it was freezing outside. One of my roomates got a pic with my outfit eating my red vines from home. Mom and Dad, I know you miss my unmatching garb I wear around the house!
We bought banana boxes, Dole, to be more specific. They are little plastic containers you can put your banana in so they don't bruise. Genius. Also, I secretly wanted to be the chiquita lady and we got bored on our long drive :)
Tonight at Iasi Days. They have these things called Kurtoskalacs or "the chimney cake. Here is a better picture of it and how they make it. Usually they cover it with cinnamon, sugar and nuts. Delicious!
Wool socks and new hats.
These wool socks are legitimate and handmaid. I love them.
