So this post is probably going to be a quick, short one. (I know, you what you are thinking - It's about time since my recent posts have been quite lengthy!)
Tonight is late Wednesday night. Tomorrow morning we are taking a rented van with all of us girls, Mario, Dr. Porter and Aaron to visit 4 different monasteries. Some of them are located in Moldova near the border of Ukraine, I believe. I'm super excited. If anything, it will give me a chance to make up for some sleep loss - although with these roads, I'm not sure how much shut eye I'm really going to get!
Mom, you will appreciate this. I have just spent the past 30 minutes to an hour packing my bag for tomorrow. Pathetic, I know. I wish I was one of those people who could throw a few things in my bag and toss it over my shoulder and go. Quite the contrary. I cleaned out my backpack, made sure I took plenty of things to do, brought my notebook for taking hw notes, stocked up on a few emergency items (bandaids for blisters, hand sani, wet wipes, ibuprofen, plenty of chapstick, tissues), organized my money and passport, reorganized all of the pockets in my backpack, checked over my list of things to bring, set out my clothes for tomorrow, packed most of my lunch...
Here's my thought. Preparation is KEY! The same reason I brought my headlamp to Romania. Lo and behold, it came in handy tonight when the other bedroom's ceiling light went out, we tried to unscrew the lightbulb and the entire fixture blew and came crashing down spilling glass everywhere. It was a little frightening, I will admit. Thanks to a good Coleman headlamp, we were able to clean up the mess!
Well, off to a bright and early morning tomorrow. I will try to take lots of pictures.
Noapte buna.
